Sabrina grew up in Ottawa but made her way to the Coast to attend UBC where she finished her degree in Human Kinetics as well as played University Rugby. After Uni, she went on to study Pedorthics (mechanics of the lower limbs, custom orthotics and custom bracing), all while continuing with her love of Rugby at high levels. Due to many injuries, Sabrina found herself in rehabilitation for a variety of injuries, experiencing many different forms of treatment. Eventually Sabrina chose to go back to school to study Massage Therapy and has been working as an RMT since 2007.

Sabrina absolutely loves her job and enjoys working with a variety of patients. Her background in study leads her practice to a more orthopedic treatment style and her background in sport gives her a good understanding and interest in injury prevention/treatment as well as chronic pain. Helping patients get back to an active lifestyle and helping patients meet their goals is of high importance in her practice.

Sabrina has two young boys and a fun-loving husband. When she is not at work she can usually be found cheering loudly for her kids at the hockey arena or on the soccer field, and then preparing large meals for her hungry crew. She loves to stay fit and enjoys weight lifting and HIIT style workouts.

When I was very young I had learned that baby mammals literally die without touch…that insight moved me greatly… over time an increased knowledge that touch has the power to nurture us, to connect us, and to transform us, inspired me to learn more about the concept of the healing powers of touch and with that I developed a very marked interest in the stunningly complex world of massage therapy. Hence, in January 2010, I graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy and I am pleased to offer my services as a Registered Massage Therapist! 🙂 With several years of formal training, along with working in various health spa and multidisciplinary clinic settings, I have gained valuable practical experience. I offer my clients a strong sense of empathy, a keen interest in enhancing their quality of life, a dedication to working closely on each person’s individual health goals, and a commitment to promoting the overall well-being of mind and body.

Although I love working with a multi-disciplinary team, I recently became the proud mommy of the sweetest little boy who motivates his daddy and I toward a more flexible work-life balance and I am excited to now be offering therapeutic massage in my own private practice in Salmon Arm, BC.

I offer my clients a wide range of therapeutic techniques.

Along with motherhood, and my ongoing professional development in the intricate and complex musculoskeletal system, I steal some “me” time for my other passion – horses and riding! I have been riding and show jumping since I was 11 years old and I have a special interest in working with fellow riders to help them with their body dynamics so they can better “communicate” with our equine friends.

I welcome any queries, and I look forward to working with you!!

Good health to you & your loved ones
